Baby Tarpon are abundant here all year long. We fish them in the protected water of the estuary. Spin casting for these powerful acrobatic fish is also great sport. We can always show you the fish and put you on top of them. We can’ t always make
them bite.! This is also an excellent place to learn the art of saltwater flats fly fishing. As guides, it’s part of our job to teach. We have many experienced freshwater fly fishermen that come to learn .

Giant Tarpon
The tarpon above was landed after a three hour fight that started about a mile from the beach. It was the first tarpon for Johan ,a seasoned fly fisherman from Holland. We worked the 65 kilo giant to the beach to land it for photos without injuring the fish. It was revived and released.
We now follow the rules for catch and release that does not allow Tarpon greater than 40lbs to be removed from the water
